#KSFGiving 2020

Join us for 30 Days of Fundraising Online and a Live Event Online November 18 at 12:30 pm

Social Media

People spend up to nine hours per day on their phones, and the average person checks their phone 80x each day…we can use that to our advantage!

  • We need fundraisers! We have the fundraiser toolkit. Our fundraiser toolkit includes promotional social media posts and emails, and more.
  • Images and content are ready to go to use on your Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts.
  • You can use your own voice, or simply copy and paste the text we have provided.
  • We have prepared several posts for each week in November, and our ask is that you post at least two each week and use our event hashtags each time you do #KSFGiving, #BridgetotheFuture.

Email
While usually a helpful medium, email click-through-rates are lower than usual right now. However emailing those you know who support education and are as passionate as you, is a great way to get them involved in supporting the students, teachers and schools in Kent School District!

  • You can use your own voice, or simply copy and paste the text we have provided.

Text
75% of people prefer to receive a text message over an email, and 98% of text messages are opened.

  • You can use your own voice, or simply copy and paste the text we have provided for social media posts and send as a text if you prefer texting over social media.

Live stream
Join us on Wednesday, November 18, for our live event at 12:30 pm with Kent Schools Foundation President Paul Bogel, Superintendent Dr. Watts, teachers, students, and more to learn more about our impact in KSD!

When you give your time or your money to an organization, knowing where and how the dollars are spent matters. The funds raised during #KSFGiving will support our annual classroom grants, KSD Students scholarships, and more. Our live event on November 18 will showcase the impact KSF is having in Kent School District and can continue to have with continued support.

Link to the event and more details are coming soon!
